Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained :)

So!

Today is the day I launch my Website and My first Blog post! and my first proper #selfie! OMG!! I know! I'm like a decade late.

But to be honest I never knew what to write, or if anyone even wanted to hear what I have to say. After over thinking the whole thing for about a year. I took the bull by the horns...... and wrote it!

For years I have been a devoted MAC fan, I have decided to branch out and see what else is out there, in the world of make up. Documenting my journey as I go.

I fell in love with make up, when I was I think 6 or 7. I realised that if you wet the tip of a colouring pencil you could draw on your face! and with that I drew on purple eyeshadow! After that, I would take lipstick and use that as an eyeshadow! Well when your only little, needs must! Now, saying that I wouldn't recommend using that to anybody! It's sticky and greasy and just feels awful. But I thought I was the Belle of the Ball!

Thankfully a lot has changed since those days!

Here I am hoping to share with you, my adventures in Make Up and showcase some of my work. To inspire and hopefully educate, with positivity and colour.

Below is my Autumn inspired look! Using MAC and Inglot products. I used Studio fix foundation and concealer, MAC prep and prime eye primer. This product is like glue for eyeshadow. Goes on so smoothly, doesn't have a sticky texture but really makes your eyeshadow stay put until you take it off. All you only need the tiniest spot for both eyes. Its brilliant.

I started with Shroom eyeshadow lightly all over the eye, then i used Inglot shadow 450 on the ball of the eye, and I used just a dot of gold from the Inglot gold pigment pot, in the corners. Blending out with 329 from Inglot range. Lipstick is Velvet Teddy from MAC. Mascara is Maybeline Great Lash in Black available in most drug stores.
