Over the course of 12 months, I had the pleasure of working with Marthalla at the LA MakeUp Academy. I've found her to be enthusiastic and punctual as well as possessing a high degree of creativity and dedication to her art.
Over the course of our photoshoots she has been helpful and courteous and posses a calmness which is really helpful in the charged atmosphere of the studio. I have known Marthalla in a variety of capacities over the years and more recently we have successfully worked together on a Beauty shoot for the purpose of a magazine cover. Proving to have an excellent outlook on her future career prospects. I found Marthalla both youthful and mature, passionate and hard working. She is extremely enthusiastic yet very grounded, but affable, intelligent and understanding. A personality of character and depth, she attains a wonderful rapport with people. I found Ms Carrig to be highly skilled as a make up artist. Her attention to detail and precision in applying the make up to my models contributed greatly to the quality of the resulting shots. Her work was custom designed to complement outfits been photographed and enhanced the result immensely.
Ms Carrig was a pleasure to work with through out the session, and never once displayed impatience at the myriad delays that inevitably occur at these sessions. Her punctuality was excellent, and her preparation impeccable. Her serene personality and calmness under preasure has the effect of relaxing the models, enabling them to give their best shoot.
Ms Carrig is highly motivated, has an extremely strong work ethic, and uses her own initiative without prompting. I look forward to working with her again in the future.
